Nonprofit Bus Fare Grants
Since 2021, IndyGo Foundation's annual Bus Fare Grants program has awarded local nonprofits with bus fare for their clients. This program is also generously funded through contributions to the Mobility Access Fund. Awardees of this grant program receive a designated amount of funding to use exclusively on discounted bus fare purchases through the IndyGo Foundation.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must operate within or serve Marion County, Indiana
- Must be a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization
- Must describe how bus fare supports organizational mission
- Must agree not to resell granted bus fare

The Bus Fare Grant typically requires an annual application submission during a designated application window, along with midpoint and final reports describing the grant's impact on both the organization and the individuals receiving bus fare. Organizations that have depleted their awarded grant funds remain eligible to purchase bus fare via the Nonprofit Discount Program.
